Keep a blood donation history and reminder on your Garmin

A calendar can hold one future date, but it rarely gives you a simple donation count and recent history. A watch can keep that small record available without sending it anywhere.

Donation dates are easy to forget because they are months apart. The useful record is small: when the last donation happened, how many you have made, and when you plan to check again with the blood centre.

What to record

Blood Donation Tracker stores today or a past donation date, keeps the most recent 24 dates, and maintains a lifetime total even when the visible history is full. You choose the reminder interval rather than accepting one universal rule.

  • Add a donation on the day or enter an earlier date later.
  • Review recent dates and the lifetime count directly on the watch.
  • See days remaining until your chosen reminder date.
  • Correct a mistaken entry without creating an online account.

Why the interval is configurable

Eligibility varies by country, donation type, blood centre, health history and temporary deferrals. A fixed countdown could look authoritative when it is not. The app therefore treats the date as a personal reminder to check, not as a medical decision.

A countdown cannot determine whether you are eligible to donate. Follow the instructions of your blood centre and healthcare professionals.

Privacy by keeping the scope small

The app requests no permissions, network access or health-data connection. The history stays in local watch storage. That also means it is not a clinical record or cloud backup: if you reset or replace the watch, preserve important information somewhere appropriate.
